travel from Shanghai to Yongkang-Ningbo-Shanghai |

I am comming to Shanghai in Jan. I need to get from Shanghai to Yong kang. Is there a flight or how do I do it. I also need to get from Yongkang to Ningbo and Ningbo back to Shanghai. Please help as this is the first time to Shanghai.

It's a 5 hour drive (+/- 30 minutes) from Central Shanghai ... there are regular buses (maybe changing in Hangzhou).
You can also visit Ningbo by bus, changing in Hangzhou (if coming from Yongkang) .. and there are direct services Shanghai/Ningbo return ... there is a bus station in Hongqiao Road, near Xujiahui in Shanghai .. or another in Hutai Road, near the main Shanghai railway station.
Any good hotel business centre or travel office should be able to point you in the right direction.. The buses are reasonably comfortable and safe, air-con, reserved seats, and on longer hauls, they stop at service centres for toilet and refreshment breaks. Take your MP3 player if you want to drown out the video sound ! |
