New airport in Datong? |

Does anyone know about the new airport in Datong?
Is it easy to do an overnight in Datong, see the sights (like the Hanging Monastery) and fly back to Beijing the next day?
since I saw the major sights the first time I was there and I know there are other old cities to see.  |

Take the overnight train.
We did Datong in a day and continued our journey by train.
It was very quick but quite doable.
The positive side of the cold was that the hanging monastery was completely deserted by tourists.... |

Any idea ABOUT the TRAIN FEE ?
