Currently here in Kunming and hope to fly to Urumqi in the next few days.
I normally just use ATMs but from what I read there doesn't seem to be any over there.
Should I just take out alot of Yuan before I go? or are cash advances possible from bank over there?

I’m not sure u have already come here or not . u just worried too much . if u here already as u can see whether ATM or u processing in the bank cash is pretty much available. Just draw the money on the way u travel don’t take much over hope u get this before u leave. Would be grateful if u get this
