As far as I know, and I don't know much, you can go via taxi/rover/hired vehicle or by bus. A hired 4x4 might cost as much as 250RMB, but a taxi will be less (maybe 100-150RMB?).
The bus is 25RMB and you can catch it by walking down East Beijing St towards the Potala, turning right on the road before the Potala, turning right soon after to the hotel-looking airline booking place, walking through the building via the street that bisects it all the way through a parking lot and to where it narrows again before it meets a perpendicular road (you might just want to ask someone as I know my directions are bad).
At this spot you will find buses that take people from the airport every hour on the hour starting at 6am (I believe). The bus takes 1 to 1.5 hours to make it to the airport. |
