I am looking for a place to travel to during the Chinese New year (May be a little late already)
Top of the list is Harbin, but it appears that tickets may be too expensive.
In case Harbin doesnt work out, I am looking for some other place in China where I can get a lot of snow during the Chinese New Year period.
Any advices ?

(already been to Beijing, so not looking at it right now)
Thanks in advance

Harbin Ice Festival annually provides visitors with a whole new world of ice and snow.

The most admired ice artworks are exhibited in three main areas: the Sun Island Park and Zhaolin Park is only 30 yuan ($4), you can go there.

Harbin Ice and Snow World is bit expensive 150($20)yuan for adult .

Sun Island Park displays a wonderful world of snow. It has the world's largest indoor ice and snow art museum . It is worth to visit and pay $4 .

A lot of foreigners come from all over the world fofr this Ice & Snow Festival every year. Very Happy

A place called 中国雪乡(zhongguo xuexiang), also known as 双峰林场(shuangfeng linchang), near Changting. You'll most probably have to arrange for a transfer from Harbin or Changbaishan. A lot of snow, for sure.
Cheers!
