Safe to travel alone??? |
|
|
Hello everyone! Is it safe to be traveling alone in China? I've heard many stories about travelers in foreign countries good and bad. What is your take on it?? I really want to visit China, but everyone's working =(
Also, if I bring any electrical appliances like laptop, mobile chargers, etc, do I have to buy a converter?
Thanks in advance! |

Usually, it's safe traveling around China, espcially for foreigners . But be careful. Search Jabarootoo's posts, she has writen a lot about this topic:-)Yes, if you bring any electrical appliances you'd better get a converter. |

Hello,
Acturally, I think your anxiety is reasonable. Travelling alone in an unfamiliar place, what's more, the language is different, cause some anxiety inevitably. But, I want to tell you that you don' t need worry like this. China is not so dangerous as most foreigners think. People here are all very friendly and they welcome friends from all over the world whole-heartedly. Just reserve the local hotel and travel agency in advance. Contact with them before you get there. Come accorss any problems, ask them for help. You also can ask the young men for help. Most of Chinese young boys and girls can speak a few English, especially in those large or midiem sized cities. If you lose your road, I'm sure they are willing to help you. Even they can not express themselves in English, as long as they know where you want to go, they will show you with other means. They will lead you to there if the distance is not very long.
So, don't worry about your tour in China. I'm sure you will have a good time in China. For further information, don't hesitate to contact with me through info@travelchinaspring.com |
