dear all:
i will stay in central hotel. how do i get to the oriental pearl tower? what are the cheapest options if not by taxi? how long is the trip to go there? i plan to go on a sunday morning. thanks |

Cheapest and fastest is to take the metro. Your hotel is <5 mins walk from Nanjing Donglu (line 2, green). Take it 1 stop east on the same line, to alight at Lujiazui. Fare is 3 RMB/pax, journey time 3 mins.
Look on http://www.exploreshanghai.com/metro/ for a good interactive metro map of Shanghai. Go out of exit no.1 and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is smack in front of you and unmissable. |
