Yichang to Guilin. |

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to figure out how to get to Guilin from Yichang. (My Yangtzee cruise stops in Yichang).
I'd prefer to travel by train, although if I have to take buses that's fine too. Either way there don't seem to be any direct routes between the 2 cities. Any help would be great.

The shortest way to Guilin by train is from Yichang to Yueyang(It is a old city with long history and also nest the 2th big lake,Tongting Hu) then from Yueyang to Guilin.

I suggest taking either a train or bus south through Hunan province to Changsha. From Changsha, you shouldn't have any problems flagging down a bus or catching a train onward to the lovely city of Guilin.
Did you enjoy your cruise down the mighty Yangzi? |
