Six months in Harbin. |

hey there. . .
I am going to Harbin to study at Heilongjiang University in February. I will be there for six months. I realize how cold it is there during this time, and was wondering what all I should buy and bring to China with me, and what to buy there. Warm clothes, cell phone service, etc.
Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You! |

hi.............
To bad you are arriving in February as you'll be missing the famous Ice Festival. Remember to buy a good pair of thermals, wool socks, a good selection of literature in English (the closest place for good books is Beijing), etc.
Buy your cellie in country. It's cheaper and easier that way. I'd also recommend a good guidebook such as a Lonely Planet or Rough Guide and postcards from home for all the new friends you'll meet. Don't fret the small stuff though. You can find practically anything in China, except for deoderant and few other things at times.
Enjoy your trip! |
