two weeks in Shanghai |

Hello,
I might be spending two weeks,from mid to late January in Shanghai. Other than spending time seeing the city, what are some good side trips from the city, either day trips or an overnight for a few nights.

Nanjing: 2-4 days
Hangzhou: 1.5-2 days
Tongli: 1-1.5 days including overnight
Xitang: 1-1.5 days including overnight
Huangshan: 3-5 days
Shaoxing: 2 days
These are my favourite. Of course there's always Suzhou (which I hate), Putuoshan (which I deem not worth going because of the troublesome transportation unless you're going there to pray and burn incense) and the various other water villages (which pale in comparison to the two mentioned above).
