I can travel from Feb.1 to Feb. 10th..so about 9 days in a country..
I like Bangkok as a HUB, but I'm open...
I live in London...never been to China..is it possible to see a couple of places in China in 9 days? Is it worth it that time of year? Or should I just restrict myself to S.E. Asia...Thailand, Cambodia, etc...
Advice? I don't even know how to "do" China..is it best to do a tour, etc...
Any advice would be appreciated!! |

Difficult to provide suggestions when you haven't indicated what you want to see or do while in China. As indicated by others, the weather is cold in the north, but if you wanted to see the ice festival in Harbin, it would probably be a good time to visit.
If you are looking for nature, swimming, minorities, you might consider flying into Kunming/Guilin and visit areas that have river rides and hiking and another possible trip is a quick tour of Hainan Island.
Or look into Air Asia flight to Macau or Xiamen to visit on the east coast as it may be a lot less expensive option. You could do Macau/Hongkong/Shenzh |
