Hi,
does anyone know if it is possible to buy a good mountainbike in BJ? Cannondale, Giant, Kona etc. (for a good price) ?

Yes, you can get a good deal on a Giant brand bike in Beijing. I bought 3 bikes for my family. We used the shop near by SunHe DaQiao (in ShunYi). You need to be careful about the specific bike and what components (brake components for example) they are using on the specific model you are considering.
Cannondale bike or a Kona would be pricey -- most likely an import, so you would pay significantly more....
