9hours in Beijing. |

I am travelling to Japan , single woman, and have about 9 hours stop in Beijing. Where can I go that is worthwhile in that time and how do I travel safely alone? |

You can visit "Forbidden City" and "Temple of Heaven" if you want to see more. Otherwise ou can just do Forbidden City, and have walk around city.
Considering the time you will spend coming and going to the airport plus the Lunch break you do not have more than 6 hours.
Both of the place are very safe, actually Beijing is safe overall especially due to the Olympic all the security measuments are taken care of so you do not have to worry about your safety. Oh, yes there are some chances that you will be high priced and taken more money if you do shopping around touristic sites.
