Will be china around Chinese new year. |

dear all:
We're going to be in China from around the 12th February 2008 for around two weeks. I think we'll be travelling by train mostly, between Bejing --Xian --Chongqing --Shanghai --Hongkong.
I'm concious that it will be near the end of the Chinese New Year - will we be able to buy train tickets easily? I've heard everyone does a lot of travelling by train that time of year.

Everyone will be traveling to get home for the holiday, but will settle down for the holiday a few days before you arrive.
Unfortunately, about a week into your trip, people are going to start going back to work, and the trains will fill up again.
Buying train tickets can be a challenge. Plane tickets are usually easier to get. |
