New year's eve in Hongkong or Macau? |

Hi all,
my grilfriend and I Will be in Hong Kong(maybe Macau.not decided yet) december 31st at night.
Could you please tell me:is there something special in Hongkong or Macau at the new year’s eve? Which is the ideal place in your mind? And what to do for the occasion.
What are locals doing, where to go?..... All informations will be most apreciated.

hi
I think,Hongkong is the best option for newyear’s eve.
2 big places are LanKwai Fong- drunken foreigners & locals, over priced drinks, or countdown at Times Square in causeway Bay- also rumour has it that this year there will be fireworks over the harbour, big light show etc.
i wish you had a good time in Honhkong. |
