1. Nice hotel preferably near the ferry terminal for about US$50-60 per day?

2. Which are the nice bars for 3 young men to have a blast?

3. How long/much is the bus trip from Macau to Guangzhou?

5. Good restaurant for local food.

Macau

Macau is not that big so you can stay in a better area (downtown) which is 15 minutes from the ferry terminal; near the ferry I don't see any hotels for that price, but my advise is for you to check the local tourism department; the webpage is quite friendly and very accurate: www.macautourism.gov.mo

From Macau to Guangzhou you must cross the border to the nearest city: Zhuhai. Once you arrive, the bus station is just in front of the emmigration. It takes exactly 2 hours from Zhuhai to Guangzhou and it costs RMB $ 50 (US 6.25);

The bus stops at major hotels and the same goes for the return trip; The border closes at 11:30pm or midnight; not sure on this so, if you are planning on returning back to Macau, have this in mind.

Macau has great food from all over. Fernando has become a very touristic place and the quality / price does no longer apply. It's still nice but you have better options.

I would reccomend 'minchi' - a macanese dish; minced meat cooked with soy sauce and served with fried potatoes, fried egg and white rice.

Sorry I can't help for Shanghai ; I went there once and got out as soon as I could.

I wish you had a good trip.

Shanghai you can find some hotel near to Nanjing Road , Hepeng Hotel got best view if you got higher floor .

Price may around $80 - $90 .

Around Hepeng Hotel so many shopping malls are availible .

While visiting Yu Garden you can enjoy all kind of snacks and foods of China.
