Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to get from Lhasa into Sikkim?
I have seen several maps which show roads going across but everyone says its impossible. The maps show a road between Gyangze in Tibet and Gangtok in Sikkim (India).

To the best of my knowledge, it is indeed impossible to cross into India from Tibet or into Tibet from India.
However, going to Sikkim from Tibet, via Nepal could be one option for you. |
