dear all:
I am based here in beijing and there is a one week holiday coming(Dec5 to 13)and I want to Hongkong or Macau on that date. Maybe I will visit guangzhou before I get to Hongkong.
I want to know how much does it cost by bus or train from guangzhou to hongkong?
Do I need to bring some documents, like ID,passport etc.
Thanks in advance. |

You can take Guangzhou-Hongkong Non-stop Coach to Hongkong downtown or Hongkong New Airport at the following locations in Guangzhou.
Guangzhou East Railway Station , Guangzhou Hotel, Dong Fang Hotel, Garden Hotel, and China Hotel.
The fare is between HKD 100 and HKD 200. The entire trip takes about four hours. |

Guangzhou East Railway Station is the starting station of Guangzhou-Hongkong Through Train, and Hongkong Kowloon Hung Hom Station is the terminus.
The fare ranges from RMB 180 yuan to RMB 230 yuan.
The earliest departure time is at 08:38 am, and the latest departure time is at 19:05 pm. The whole trip takes about two and half an hour.
A Passport is required to visit Hong Kong.
UK passport holders can stay in Hong Kong for up to six months without a visa. Citizens of Commonwealth countries do not require a visa for up to three months. American citizens, Japanese, South African and Germans can stay for one month without a visa. Visitors to Hong Kong are supposed to show that they have adequate funds for their stay and an onward ticket. |
