Hi,
I'm Jeff from Indonesia, I will be in Kunming next May 13-18 and plan to visit Tibet, does anyone know how to reach Tibet from Kunming, do I have to go with travel agent, or does anyone know how to find a tour guide with reasonable price in Kunming? Pls help me, thanks...

Now there have two ways to Lhasa, by flight and by road.
By flight, only five cities have the direct flights to Lhasa, Chengdu, Xian, Chongqing, Katmandu, and Hongkong.
And you also can take bus.
From Kunming to Lhasa, the road spans 2300km.
You'd better go there with a travel agent. You can find the Tibet service in any travel agent of Kunming. If book a itinerary, the agent will deal with anything the Tibet tour needs, such as the Tibet Travel Permit. |
