Comparatively speaking, Suzhou is a small city in Jiangsu province. It is very near from Shanghai, one can take an hour’s train or bus journey from Shanghai.
Suzhou is famed for gardens and silk. Among many gardens, Zhuozhengyuan (Humble Administrator's Garden) and Liuyuan (Lingering Garden) are the most famous. Do not miss these two gardens if you are interested in Chinese traditional architecture and culture. |
