the best transportation for a travel from Kunming to Dali |

I would like to plan to tour from Kunming to Dali to Lijiang to Zhongdian and then to Chongqing.
My questions are what is the best recommended transportation to go from Kunming to Dali if time is the concern but not taking plane?
Is there any transport available to travel from Zhongdian or Lijiang to Chongqing?
If yes, can provide the detail?
If no, is it that I have to go back to Kunming and then to Chongqing?
What will then be the fastest time taken to go to Chongqing other than flight? |

From Kunming to Dali you can take the express Bus.It is very convinient.There is railway from Kunming to Dali too.The timetable of the train is:
N996 09:02 departs from Kunming and 15:40 arrives in Dali.
N992 23:15 departs from Kunming and 07:30 arrives in Dali
N986 22:36 departs from Kunming and 06:10 arrives in Dali
N982 21:26 departs from Kunming and 04:18 arrives in Dali
From Kunming to Dali the bus will be a nice choise.It will take about 4 hours to arrive.
If you don't mind I suggest that you take a plane to Shangri-la first then take a bus from Shangri-la to Lijiang.After that trip you can take another bus from Lijiang to Dali.The next step is taking one train to go to Kunming.The last section is taking one flight coming back. |
