I am looking for hostel or cheap hotel in Beijing, any recommendation?
My requirement:
1. walking distance from Tian'an Men
2. need double bed room (one big bed for 2 persons instead of 2 single beds)
3. clean (very important)
4. budget max.150Y per night

i stayed at the far east and i loved it there. i thought it was very clean. the showers in the hotel are better than in the hostel part. toilets are reasonably clean most of the time. The courtyard is perfect, there are tables and a little shop where you can buy beer ( and other stuff ofcourse).
it's a good place to start out the day and meet other travellers. there is also a smal tourist office there to arrange train tickets and tours to the wall and stuff like that. the area around the hostel is really nice to explore and wander around. |
