Air Asia one-way ticket |

Has anyone flown Air Asia ex Bangkok to Macau recently on a one-way ticket? Did the check-in staff in Bangkok airport give you a hard time about not having an onward ticket out of Macau? I'm about to book BKK-Macau (and cross overland into China proper) but am not sure of their onward-ticket policy. I really don't want to buy a useless ticket ex Macau just to satisfy some check-in clerk in BKK.

I flew both ways on one way tickets with no visas and British passport
no questions asked going to Macau; on the way back, I was quizzed as to why I'd no visa and no onward/return ticket, but I wasn't prevented from boarding |
