Depends what you are looking for, the more casual the clothes, the easier it is (i.e. T-shirts are easy to find to fit; tailored dress pants a bitch). Taller is not normally a problem, there are lots of Chinese women 170 cm and taller, especially in northern China. Big is a problem, average can be a problem. Chinese women mostly don't have curves and unless they are middle-aged or older, they like to wear their clothes very tight. Put it this way: I'm 160 cm, 55 kilos (i.e. not big) and often have trouble since body shape is non-Chinese. In cities, there are some markets and department stores (that see lots of foreign visitors or expats) that carry more "large" sizes. |
