So far I've been pretty organised with my next trip but now I need help. I'm flying into Beijing, spending 5 weeks in China, and then heading to KTM from Chengdu via Lhasa. Does anyone know a quick and easy way to get back to Beijing to catch my return flight home? |

The quickest sure bet way is probably fly KTM-Bangkok than Bangkok to Beijing. It won't be cheap. There was supposed to be a direct KTM to Shanghai flight (once or twice a week) starting up either in 2004 or 2005, but I don't know status and can't remember airline, most likely it would have been the Nepalese airline, Air China, or China Eastern so you could search on those. You may need another visa or double entry visa when you get back to China, depending on how long you will layover in Beijing. |
