Domestic Flights in China |
|
|
Hello I'm needing help
My husband & I are off to China in March. We are planning to go to:
- Shanghai to Guilin (Fly)
- Guilin to Yangshuo (Boat)
- Guilin to Yichang (Fly)
- Yichang to Chongqing (Cruise)
- Chongqing to Xian (fly)
- Xian to Beijing (fly)
Due to only being in China for 3 weeks we would like to fly as much as possible to save time. I'm trying to workout how to get from Guilin to Yichang. It looks like I can only fly to Wuhan and then bus it to Yichang. Is it true it will take 5 hours on a Bus from Wuhan to Yichang.
Thanks |

By air no problem, but it might be possible that there are no boats all the way to Yangshuo from Guilin because of missing rain/lack of water.
But there are also busses to Yangshuo right from the Guilin trainstation. there are smaller ships (for 6 people) which are even cooler from Yangshou or Xingping - so you can enjoy the beautiful river anyway!
It's true. Or you can take train. Still 5 hours.
good luck |
