hello all,
i've already gathered important info on the "can't miss sights in beijing" from previous posts. however, my question is, does anyone know how much it will cost to fly return from hongkong to beijing via dragon air. are there any other airlines i can take? i wanna have an amazing race feel to my travels so i'd like to fly by the seat of my pants, is it advisabel just going to the airport or the nearest travel agent and booking your flight for the same day travel or will i have to give up some flexibility and book in advance? any info will be appreciated.

You could try this travel agent, I have used them before. They are on Hong Kong Island, near Wanchai - probably you could book tickets there, receive them in around 1 hour, and then take the express train from Central to the airport. Dragonair are usually slightly more expensive than mainland airlines.
