Moving to Shanghai - any advice? |
After living in the UK for 30+ years, I'm currently working in the US and will probably be starting a 6 month contract in Shanghai in May. The US is much like the UK in many ways, but I'm a bit apprehensive about going to work in China having never visited before. Does anyone have any advice/experiences about living there, and in Shanghai in particular? |

Shang hai has grown to be just another big city with nearly everything you could find where ever you are living now. Many people do speak English and there is a very large expat community. Hopefully you are being paid a western salary as the city is expensive and quite spread out. |
