Are there any document required to take ones dog into china or out of china? any other offical requirements? tests? |

Why do you want to take your dog? Can't you leave it at home? My family used to live in China and they brought their dog from the US with them. It was a HUGE hassel that turned quickly to a fiasco then disaster. In the end we had to evacuate the dog as the gov't wanted more and more fee money for keeping it. While it was fun to hike with him on the Great Wall it was not worth it for him - he was so tortured there. The paperwrok for getting him in and out required lots of cash and fluent chinese speakers and weeks of waiting in lines. The same goes for cats. My parents got cats after the dog had to returen to the States... Why? |
