suggestions on visa conduct from Russian Embassy in Beijing |
|
|
I have heard that the Russian embassy in Beijing only issues visas to Chinese passport holders since April 2004. Does anyone know if this is still the case?
Also, if they do issue visas to foreigners, do they require original visa support documents or are faxed documents ok?
Thanks |

Yep, embassy in Beijing will only issue to Chinese passport holders (or it might be Chinese resident permit holders...but I assume that makes no difference to you?) Embassy in Shanghai will issue to foreigners, as will the one in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong they require originals (or at least "prefer" them, you might get lucky with a decent quality colour copy), in Shanghai it's a similar story - have a look on the Eastern Europe branch, and the Trans-Sib sticky - Everbrite has posted a lot of very useful information about getting Russian visa in China, incl. embassy contact details. |
