one-way ticket to china |

Has anyone recently applied for a chinese visa at the embassy in london? I want to get a one-way flight to shanghai because I want to travel back by train, but someone in the travel agency said the chinese consulate might not like me to enter china with a one-way ticket. Some tourists says they like to see tickets with your visa application - but do they really insist on this? |

Friends got visa recently from Chinese Embassy in London ( in October) and were not asked to produce tickets.
I'vce never known them ask for tickets for the visa, or at immigration. Or to do anything even resembling checking your iteniery. |
