What is the best way to go? Are credit cards/ATMs widely accepted in Beijing and Shanghai? Am I better to change currency in the States or in China? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks! |

your credit card might not be accepted everywhere sometimes they only accept chinese credit cards so you are better off bringing some traveller's cheques and some cash , you can easily find RMB chinese money at curency exchange at u.s. airports before leaving. just bring about 100$ in RMB and it should be ok for the first couple of days. the debit card is still the best things works at all atm from the China Bank and they have branches throughtout the country. |
