my family is going to take tour to china ,I know most of the scenic spotis sell the permission by the age of childern as baby (no need permission)child(child permission) and adult intackt price,canyou tell my in what standard does they
define them?
can I get discount for childern in ticket?

The Chinese discount goes by height not by age, except for seniors. If my memory serves, they have two criteria: under 1.1 meters and under 1.4 meters. That will decide if the kids qualify for full waiver of half of it. Some places also take student ID for a reduced ticket. You may take your U.S student ID for chances. They may or may not recognize it. |

Ben is right,they say under 2 years old are exempted frrom perssion fee, and between 2~14 are should pay childern fee,but is it trouble to identify the age, so almost every place inquire the pay according to height. |
