Overland travel - Lhasa to Everest Base Camp |

I am hoping to travel from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and would like to know how many days to allocate for the overland trip. I would prefer to fly back to Lhasa from a city near Base Camp v. doing the return drive. Is there any airport near Base Camp, other than Kathmandu?

From Lhasa to Everest Base Camp overland trip and back to Lhasa again will spend around 5 to 6 days. There is no airport near Base Camp.
You can get further information from tibetfit@gmail.com
They can arrange individual legal Tibet permit for you and also Landcruiser from Lhasa to and back from Everest. |

It would be better either taking a flight to Lhasa or enter from border by driving. There is not airport available near Everest Base Camp. Actually there is just only one airport that is 2 hours far on vehicle from Lhasa (Gongar Airport. We have fixed departure tour for Everest Base Camp.
