A friend I are currently in Laos and are planning on crossing into China for the New year around February 7th. We do not currently have hotel or bus reservations.is it possible to find good hotels during the Chinese New Year?

QUESTION:We know the travel may be difficult, but are the sights and sounds of Chinese New Years worth the trouble or should we just stay in Laos untill the New Year blows over?

well, it depends on which city you are going to visit,if you choose the traditional chinese citys like datong- shanxi province,meizhou-fujian province,etc,you would see a traditional chinese new year,and if you choose BEIJING,SHANGHAI,HONGKONG as your destination,you would have another kind of new year,much more fashion and more jollification there.
anyway i think it really worth ,take all this as a brand new experience,it won`t let you down.
