Hey there, american boy going to shanghai and looking for a room in the french concession area, Y500 or so???
Is there a motel 168 there? I can see it in my tour guide on West Yan'an Road...but not on their website.
anyway prob prefer a nicer place if you can recommend one, thanks |

You can try the rooms at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Foreign Experts Building. The mansion which now houses the rooms (there're only 3) on the 2nd floor and a restaurant on the 1st floor used to be the Jewish Club. Rooms are 300 RMB each (with ensuite, TV, 24-hour hot water etc) and you're advised to book well in advance as they're very popular! |
