I have heard in some Chinese cities there are areas where people gather to speak English.
Is there such a place in GZ and if yes when and where does it operate I have 9 days coming up in Febuary in GZ and thought it might be amusing. |

Usually these take place at Universities and the Unis will be closed for CNY holiday for the first few weeks of Feb.
The Guangzhou English language newspapers have them too. When you get in, buy the latest issue at the street newstands and send them an email. |
