Extending Chinese Visa |
|
|
I was wondering if the Chinese 30 day visa could be extended (possibly in Chengdu as I plan on going on into Tibet). I will be travelling with a few friends, there will be a couple of Brits, A Kiwi and a Japanese girl with me. Can we all get the visa extended with the same ease, if indeed it's possible?
Can we get the Napalli Visa in Lhasa or on the border or do we have to sort it in advance?
(as a footnote; we only plan on doing 30 days in China anyway but a further 2 weeks in Tibet, which i know you need the permit for but also the valid Chinese visa...hence the need for an extension?)
Cheers in advance. |

Try getting the extension in Chengdu. I have heard that it is sometimes a bit difficulty but try anyway. Otherwise I think its Leshan thats a bit easier but not sure about that.
The Nepali visa you can get either in Lhasa at the consulate near the Norbulingka or you can get it by the border. The price is the same, around 35 USD I think. Bring passportphotos. |
