Can I obtain a Chinese visa in Ulaan Baatar (american passport)? How long does it take?

I did in July 2003. It took <24 hours ... and was an excellent service. [UK passport]
Think we paid a bit extra for the service of <24h. Was the standard 4 week tourist visa.
An american chap was trying to get a business visa at the same time and he was unsuccessful... but the paperwork was much more intense from what we gleaned from his outburst!
Tourist visa should be fine - hope this helps |
