which is the easiest (and cheapest) way to go to Kunming? I want to visit the Stone Forest, but it's a long way to Kunming? |

Train should be the cheapest way to Kunming, while plane the easiest, I guess.
Stone Forest is about 90 kilometers from Kunming. Tourist buses shuttles between Kunming and Stone Forest daily. A ticket is 20 Rmb. There is a train to Stone forest from Kunming too.
I guess it depends on where you are coming from but Kunmin is very much a transportation hub. |
