Can someone tell me what are the best places to visit whilst in Nanjing and also Hangzhou? I'm from Australia and will be backpacking with my mate for 2 weeks Shanghai - Huangshan - Nanjing - Wuxi - Suzhou - Hangzhou - Shanghai

From Shanghai south railway station taking a train to Hangzhou, about two hours. take a Tour Bus No.2 , going around the scenic spots along west lake, or, when you arrived west lake, you can rent a bike to have a bike tour around the lake; in the afternoon, take tour bus from west lake to Lingyin Temple. In the evening, back to Nanshan Road which is closed to the west lake, with many bars. if it's early, you can go to this Gu Jie ( streets with old stytle and local snacks shops..very interesting).
From Shanghai to Nanjing, about four hours by train. The train will stop at Suzhou. I've been to Nanjing but haven't seen around the city. It saids you can see this Fuzi Temple, the Zhongshan Tomb...I should go there one day myself.
