2 days' trip in Beijing.... what do to? |
|
|
I will be in Beijing for business pretty soon -- my colleages are eager to get back to their families , but being single I'm considering staying a few extra days to see the city. I've been there once before and I did see the T.Square, and went exploring a bit on my own -- my favorite trick in a foreign city is to jump on a bus and see where it takes you, except it's no fun when you accidently go on the express that doesn't stop the first hour..
What should I do? See the great wall? Is the forbidden city worth it?
Unfortunately, I speak no Chinese, but would love to experience some "real" Chinese culture and way of life. |

my suggestion is the Great Wall. I living in Beijing for more than ten years, and know the city very well. The great wall is most attractive scenery , especially for foreigners. It only takes you one day to visit it.When you climb up the great wall, you will feel you can put the earth into your breast. go,go,go there, you will regret if you go home without viewing the miracle scenery. |
