Hi all

anyone know how long it would take about from Deyang or Chengdu to Xi'an by train and how much , is a weekend enough time to go there and back?

Yes, it's enough, but you'd better not come until the middle of March.
by rail, you may start at Friday's evening. Take train K6 from Chengdu at 19:42 and arrive in Xi'an at the next day 12:06.
Return at Sunday's afternoon, take K5 from Xi'an at 13:19 and you may get to chengdu at 06:01.

A one way ticket of hard sleeper costs about 200 yuan.
