Trip to China : 1st Stop in Shanghai! |

I'll be travelling to Shanghai from the 19 Feb and will probably stay for 2 weeks or till my buget gets the better of me.. my plan as follows:
shanghai - 2 days
Harbin - 3 days
Chengdu - 3 days
Lhasa - 3 days
Shanghai - 3 days with day trips to
HangZhou
Nanjing.
Can anyone advise on such a plan? I'll be travelling alone too so far.. my ears are open!

I suppose you are hoping to catch the final days of the Ice Festival and so you are going to Harbin first. The snow and ice sculptures should still be there but you should confirm in Shanghai before heading to the frozen tundra.
The flight from Lhasa to Shanghai stops in Chengdu and that transportation will take a complete day. You will need a minimum of three full days to see all of the attractions in the Lhasa Valley.
Have you considered stopping by a scenic canal town in the Yangtze River delta region? Perhaps Xitang near Hangzhou or Tongli near Suzhou would make a nice day trip. There are other small towns closer to Shanghai that still give you the same "water village" experience.
Ice, monks, pandas, and junks; looks like a fun trip!
