get a new visa for 4 month for tavel China from HK |
|
|
Hi there. I'm backpacking down the east coast from Beijing, and my plan is to go to HK, get a new visa, and keep on traveling. Is it possible to get a double entry F visa for 4 months or more just from the embassy/p.s.b, or do I have to go through the more expensive visa agencies? Also - is it better to just get a tourist visa and then extend it in China? Problem with that is, that I plan to also go visit Mongolia, and then I'll have to get a new one before re-entering for my flight back.
Thanks in advance, |

Is it necessary to have an invitation from a company to buy the F visa?
From above mentioned Forever Bright Trading Limiteds FAQ page:
| Quote: | | You need a letter of invitation to apply for business visa. |
Then on their "Type and proceeding fee" page there is no mention of such paper.
| Quote: | The following documents are required upon visa application
1. Original passport with: (i) at least one blank visa page amendment page at codes are not acceptable for visa stamping.
(ii) at least 6 months validity from the date of travel
2. One recent passport-sized single photograph.
3. H.K. I.D. card copy ( if applicable) |
Same for Japan Travel Agency
| Quote: | Documents required:
Passport
One Passport Photo (4cm×3cm, black and white or color)
ID card copy ( If you are a Hong Kong Permanent Resident.)
Copy of the graduation certificate(for holding (X) Visa Applicant only) |
Note: I have also posted this as a new topic in the China Visa thread:
