travel from Kowloon to Guilin |
|
|
Hi everyone.
I'm interested to hear people's preferences for this well worn path.
Better to:
-train to Guangzhou and train on OR
-Ferry to Guangzhou and train on
-Ferry to Shenzen and train on.
From reading other posts, It seems there's no need to spend much time in either (Guangzhou / Shenzen).
Any advice on timing connections through to Guilin? Easy to get tickets at these stations same day?
Thanks good people. Happy New Year! |

We did it by train. There must be of thousands at the satoin in Guangzhau due to the new yaer. All tickets were sold out except softsleepers, that cost us 370 RMB, over our budget but very comfortable. Maybee it won't be so busy on the 9th of march and you can get a hard sleeper or sometrhing.
Your could even just get waht ever the cheapest tickets are, but it was a 13 hour journey and they were packed in like sardines some with no seat even at one part of the train. |
