If possible Tibet is the best choice. It's even most Chinese people's dreams to go.
Or I just recomand one city in the west: Xi'an. There's a lot to see on history there. Even older and more attractive than Beijing, in my opinion.
If you're not going for a visit on ancient Chinese culture, but on natural landscape, I sugguest going to Shangri-La Region. It's a large region but I guess two weeks will be just enough for a part of it in Sichuan or Yunnan Province. I must say it's one of the most beautiful areas on the earth. |
