Have any of you living in Beijing tried acupuncture in an effort to quit smoking? If so, what are your thoughts about it? If anyone can recommend a clinic or private doctor in either Chaoyang or Xicheng district that would be great. |

I am actually studying Chinese Medicine now (I'm in the U.S.). We have a lot of people come into the clinic for help with quitting smoking. It will help if you really want to quit, but you have to apply yourself. They will use a combination of acupuncture and herbs to help with the cravings and withdrawl symptoms, but there is no magic bullet. It can really help though. Good Luck! |

Hi there,
Have you quit yet?
If you want to be classed as a smoker, take one small drag. Thats all it takes.
If you take one drag then you are still a smoker.
Thats what I said to myself and I gave up cold turkey.
Also you might be able to get a discount on your health/life insurance if you quit.
To be or not to be that is the question. Return to innocense. |
