There are about 8 universities in HK. All are State (ie public / govt) universities. What do you want to study? All apart from the Chinese UNiversity of HK (CUHK) are English medium. At CUHK, English instruction is encouraged

The below are some of the better known ones:
University of HK - based on HK island
HK university of science and Technology - this is based out in the New Territories
HK Polytechnic University - based in Hung Hom on Kowloon side
City University of HK - based in Kowloon - pretty much above Kowloon Tong MTR
Chinese University of HK - based out in the New Territories
