can anyone please give me some advice
im leaving for hong kong on friday 11th feb and im worried about being let though immigration. as an irish passport holder i am allowed to stay for 3 months. however as i plan to travel overland from hong kong into china, vietnam and then through cambodia to fly out of bangkok, i dont have a return tickete from hong kong. although i am planning to leave hong kong within 3 months how can i prove this to immigartion, yes i have my flight out of bangkok on 22nd june (4.5 months later), im worried that i will need to prove when i actually leave hong kong. i was planning on getting my chinese visa while in hk and also pourchasing my train ticket into chins while im there-but how am i supposed to prove this to immigration???
has anyone done this before and had any problems
any advice really appreciated as im getting scared i wont get in and my whole trip will be ruined!
thanks |

Daisy, as long as you don't look like a heroin junkie, immigration are unlikely to ask for a ticket for onward travel. Just be grateful you have a First-World passport. |
